01/05/10 • new news.

new news. ha. The new year treated us quite well. Personally, between Thursday afternoon and Sunday afternoon I saw many long time friends, met many new friends that I hope stick around for a long time, and enjoyed many fine drinks(mostly yuengling), many fine meals(mexican breakfast, oh my mexican breakfast) and went to bed no earlier than 5am every day.

The new news is that we’ve got some trips to announce, one being a weekend with Pretty & Nice and You Can Be A Wesley the last weekend of January, and one being a trip to the west coast and back via Austin, Tx. I’m not going to post the dates yet because a lot of it is still up in the air, but it will commence with the release of our second single on Static Eye records at O’briens on March 5th with some super cool buddy bands of ours that we’ll be announcing in the next week or so.

That’s about it for now. If you feel like it, hop on over to amazon or Itunes and check out the Be A Baby single, it exists as 1’s and 0’s and also as vinyl that you can pick up at all the shows.

12/24/09 • first shows of the new year

First off, Great Scott was awesome the other night. Everyone was way cool to us for braving snowstorms, buying us shots, yelling things at us while we played and being our best buds. We do it again sort of this Monday at O’Briens. Our bestest friend Kayla is home from the west coast and we’re playing with Now Denial, Furnace, Beach Hair and Digital Prisoners of War(supriya) to celebrate. Um, how do I put it, total bro show. Gonna be a big sweaty.

After that we’ve got a fun Weekend with Gary B. and The Notions. Bruar Falls in Brooklyn on January 1st and The Windup Space in Baltimore January 2nd.

Keep your eye out for some more shows around Boston, a Lowell show and a weekend with Pretty & Nice and You Can Be A Wesley.

12/03/09 • Be a Baby single exists.

The fine folks at Static Eye received them today and we are all very excited to finally have small chunks of vinyl with our music on them. We’ll be playing great scott on December 19th with the Konks, Babydriver and Bar Sinister to celebrate it’s existence and release. Come party.
